my new cooking minigame guide! by brian c of course. Guide to a Cooking Minigame by brian c V-V-V Intro--- Have you ever played "Paper Mario","Harvest Moon", or "The Sims:Makin Magic"? If you have, you might have seen and grown to love that heck-of-a minigame called COOKING. Well, it's not really a minigame, it's just built like one.A cooking minigame is just an event which asks you to put in an item or two and forks out the results. Making the Cooking Event--- *To start with, get a pot, stove, or any other kind of cooking graphic you can find. *Second, create an event at the same level as the hero and waits for a button to be pushed. *Be sure to name your event so that you don't get confused. *Create various items that turn on switches. These switches will create recipes. *Create as many pages as combinations (math finally has a use). *Create items that will be produced on very page except for the first. *Now tell your player to go to his/her item menu and use a switch item (ingredient). *On each page two switches acting as ingredients will activate a certain page. X-tras!--- + You can create an endless matrix of results by creating different cooking utencils that are built as variables. + You can make a quest to get ingredients or even a supermarket! + You can make the player a chef or you can copy paper mario and make a cook/baker. + You can hold cooking contests where you can sell or enter you meals for money. + The results of a recipe can be as rare as the ingredients.
